Where do I park?
Be prepared - parking may be a challenge! There are several lots available for your use:
Main Telra lot (you may use "Reserved" spaces if available)
One lane of parallel parking along the curb in the main Telra lot (please do not drive onto the grass!)
The upper lot, between Telra and St. Francis UMC
The St. Francis UMC lot
Across the street in the McKee Elementary parking lot
Across the street in the McKee Rd. Park parking lot
Parking areas have been highlighted red in the image below. If you are parking across the street, please be very careful when crossing McKee Rd. Keep your children close and cross in groups when possible.
What do I do with school supplies?
Hopefully, you have already purchased your school supplies. Bring them with you to the gym where you'll start for the Principals Presentation. If you ordered an EduKit, you will pick it up in the gym.
After the Principal Presentation, you will visit two locations:
Your child's distribution classroom - This is where you will drop off all of the school supplies that are designated to "stay with classroom." (see the bottom of the school supplies page if you are not sure which these are)
Your child's locker or cubby - You can leave "personal" school supplies here if you like, or you can take these back home and bring them with you on Monday. (Either way, be sure to visit the cubby/locker so you can learn where it is.) And remember, "lockers" at Telra do not lock, so don't leave any valuables here.
Who are my child's teachers?
At this time most classes and teachers have been posted on Alma. You can log onto Alma to find your child's schedule and see all of their teachers. (Some specials courses are still being loaded.)
From your home screen in Alma, click on any child to see their "overview" tab, which lists their classes
Your child will start their morning in their 1st Block classroom (labelled B1 on their schedule)
One caveat: This schedule and teacher assignments are preliminary. After placement tests are completed in the first week of school, some students will move instructional groups or grade levels. Even if your child's instructional level does not change, if a large number of other students need to change placements, it could impact the overall schedule and teacher assignments for your child as well.
Open house is an opportunity for you to meet all the teachers - not just the teachers your child is assigned to at the moment. With our dynamic model, there is a good chance your child may see some other teachers throughout the year, so take advantage of our open house format and mingle!
Where do I go to meet the teachers and find my cubby or locker?

How do I find my child's cubby / car tag number / school ID number / school email?
These pieces of information are in Alma, so it really is very important that you confirm your login and access.
When you log into Alma, click the circle with your initials and select "My Info" to find your child's information. There you'll find:
Your child's school ID number (also sometimes called their Powerschool ID number)
Your child's Telra email address
Your child's Locker / Cubby number. Now that you have the number, go find your cubby.
Your family's Car Tag number. Alma doesn't have a "car tag" field, so this is labelled "Lunch Number" on Alma.
Your "Car Tag / Lunch Number" is the number you should display on your windshield when you come to pick up your child at the end of each school day.
If you had a car tag from a previous school year, you can still use it. We are still working on printing up some new car tags for incoming families, so until you have yours, please just write your Car Tag number in clear lettering and affix it to your windshield so we can read it when you drive up.
How do I find my child's Distribution Classroom?
Your child's Distribution Classroom depends on their grade and schedule. From your home screen in Alma, click on any child to see their "overview" tab, which lists their classes
Grades K-3: Your child's distribution classroom is their 4th Block class (labelled B4 on their schedule) - There should be a 3-digit room number shown for this class next to the teacher's name.
Grades 4-9: Your child's distribution classroom is their 3rd Block class (labelled B3 on their schedule) - There should be a 3-digit room number shown for this class next to the teacher's name.
